Session 8: Monday Matinee
This session spans continents and generations, united by the spirit of going further. A mountain bike team navigates Nepal’s remote Dolpo region, wrestling with what purposeful travel truly means. A gruelling 6,900 km Canadian expedition runs alongside an equally moving story of twelve people with chronic pain covering the same distance together. A 1955 Himalayan landmark climb is reexamined through the lens of culture, class and the climbers that history forgot. The session closes with one of the most audacious alpine objectives imaginable — summiting K2 without oxygen, then flying off the top on a paraglider.
